Mission

Our heart and vision is to impact the world for Christ by extending the kingdom work of the gospel

Our first mission is the people of Tauranga

Our desire is to see people experiencing the power and love of Jesus

Global Mission demands the cross-cultural communication of the gospel; taking the message and life of Jesus around the world to those who have not yet heard. Over the last 20 years, Lifechurch has made a difference in lives, churches and communities across Asia, Africa, Mexico, and the South Pacific.

Go Make A Difference is based on the simple, yet compelling command that Jesus left us; Go Make Disciples wherever you go! Whether it is our nation of New Zealand, or whether it is one of the Nations around the planet, Jesus simply said, “Go - Make a Difference - Go and Make Disciples”.

Our mission is expanding God’s kingdom globally

New Zealand Reaching the World

Since we began Go Make A Difference in 2012, we have touched the following nations:

New Zealand, Mexico, Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, India, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Fiji and Indonesia.

It is exciting stuff!

Uganda

Over the last four years, Lifechurch has been sponsoring the training of ‘underground’ church planters. There are now many groups of believers established across new church communities, not just in Uganda but also four other nations. Each year we also run refresher courses for church planters. We now have a growing movement of new churches in Uganda.

Mexico

Mike, Sarah and their family, living in Tijuana, north Mexico, are literally presenting an opportunity for people to ‘receive Jesus’.  Each time the Louwrens family is ‘received’, Jesus gets received!

Lifechurch get to be active partners, contributors and seed sowers into the ‘arms, legs, words and actions’ of Jesus through Mike, Sarah and family. This includes supporting outreach to impoverished communities, touching the lives of orphans and disabled children and sharing Jesus with local people.
